About Youth aDAPT

Led by Gina Martin, Youth aDAPT is a one-hour interactive presentation tailored for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The program helps youth understand what disabilities are, but more importantly, what they are not. In the past, much of the focus has been on teaching students with disabilities how to fit in. Youth aDAPT shifts that perspective by helping classmates understand how to work together, embrace differences, and build inclusion from the inside out.

Through engaging stories and interactive experiences, students learn that everyone has strengths and stretches. It is our differences that make us diverse, and our understanding that makes us inclusive.
